The commission for the development of competitors under 18 years of the International MMA Federation - IMMAF, chaired by the president of BF MMA, Stanislav Nedkov, has developed a guide for assessing the technical level of young competitors worldwide.
Over the past few months, the Commission has been working hard to create a comprehensive evaluation system to ensure minimum technical requirements for all competitors up to 18 years of age, and which from the beginning of 2021 are mandatory for participation in international competitions.
"I would like to thank the President of IMMAF Mr. Kerith Brown, who gave the opportunity to the Director of Development Andrew Moshanov and all my colleagues on the Under 18 Athlete Development Commission to develop new pathways for young MMA athletes. Through In the last few months, we have done a huge amount of work to create a mechanism that is workable, fair and safe.Through this mechanism we will be able to motivate fighters in their development so that they have a chance to compete in major international championships and God willing, in the not-too-distant future at the Olympic Games," shared Stanislav Nedkov.
